Harrison Moore, a Sheffield Post-Graduate Student, will also be there, as will other artists from around the world.
Whilst in Chengdu (8th-15th August) the Sheffield artists will have a busy eight day schedule which includes visiting local heritage sites, but time will be set aside for them to paint during their programme.
Thereafter, they will be exhibited permanently in one of
the international museums in Tianfu Square.
Once Yvonne and Harrison are back in Sheffield, the Chengdu Municipal Government will be sending five artists to visit Sheffield for three days and to take part in a range of networking events with Sheffield artists. The chinese artists will also have the chance to take guided tours of the city, and work inspired by their trip will also be displayed as part of the ‘Sister Cities’ Conference back in Chengdu.
