Open Studios 2011 - more info

Children

We are delighted to
welcome children to our studios, but please understand that these are working
environments, with potentially harmful material and tools.  Kilns are extremely
hot (if they are on), saws cut, and paints are not good for clothes or
stomachs.  And many of our pieces are delicate and easily damaged.

No surprise, then, that we must insist that children are well behaved & closely supervised at all times.

Studio Locations

Our countryside might be lovely, but it can make it tricky to find some places.  Hopefully, the Google maps (click on the
postcodes)  will get you 'almost there', and these final directions will lead you down the  garden path, so to speak.

Most of us will have some  sort of sign or banner outside to confirm that you are at the right place.

7. Rachel Poole

Rachel's
studio will be  open over both weekends at Springfield Farmhouse
Whitwell Lane,  Stocksbridge, S36 1GB.

Sat
Navs tend to make a mess of finding this, usually sending  folks into the local
farms.

If approaching  from
Stockbridge, coming up Whitwell Lane, the road climbs uphill and then turns  90
degrees right. The studio is on the right immediately after that bend.

From the other  direction,
coming downhill, go past all the farms and then a bungalow on your  left.  The
studio is in a row of 3 cottages on the left, just before the 90  degree
bend.

Look out for  the
banner.

8. Sabine Little

Sabine's studio will be
open over both weekends at Castle Green, Bolsterstone, S36 3ZB

Opposite Bolsterstone
church
