The Review Process
Your application will be reviewed by members at the next monthly meeting, usually in February and July. You will then be contacted by letter/ email and, in most cases, you will be invited to an interview with a panel of three or four members of the group to discuss your work.
At the interview, the panel will be assessing you and your work against the criteria above. We emphasise that while high quality craftmanship is important, we will be equally concerned for you to demonstrate a sound creative capability. We understand that your approach may be highly individual, so make no pre-judgements on what we expect.
We will also be concerned to establish that your work will be sufficiently different from that of other members, especially where we already have several members working in a similar discipline/medium.
This will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions too about the group.
At the next group meeting, the members you were in contact with will feed back to the rest of the group and a decision will be made as to whether a partnership is suitable and appropriate. Thereafter you will be contacted again, by letter / email.
